Champagne Lacroix
Champagne, FRANCE, WINESThe history of Champagne Lacroix-Triaulaire started as soon as 1917: two families represented by two men from Aube region – one is a farmer, the other one runs a local hardware store – they meet and they become friends during the Great War. Ten years later, the lives of their respective children, Lucienne Cosson and Jacques Lacroix, begin a new bloodline. Living at first from livestock breeding and cereal crop, Jacques, with his brother Jean, decide quite early to find a farm to take over so as to continue the passion for working the land inherited from their ancestors. In the late 1950’s, when the Ministry of Agriculture launched large projects of land clearance in the Aube region, the family Lacroix took the occasion to write the first chapter of their history: they owned more than 250 hectares then and bred up to 700 sheep. On 3rd October 1951, the love between Lucienne and Jacques was marked by the birth of François, then in 1953 that of Philippe. François, brought up by his grandmother, started studies to get his Certificate of Agricultural Studies and rapidly applied his know-how with a House of Champagne. There he acquired some wine experience enriching his land education and his knowledge, by reading thousands of books. As he became a young wine-grower, he also learnt about vinification and wine trade. Ambitious and promising, François was quickly appointed team leader and broker. A CLOSE FOLLOW-UP Théodore, like his father before him, notes down the instructions of his new concluding practices in a small notebook which he keeps, like an encyclopaedia of experiences and trials on vine and wine; a close follow-up of each idea, each innovation. SUPPLENESS OF WINES Following a vinification mode including alcoholic fermentation of juices in thermo-controlled tanks, and systematic malolactic fermentation for the suppleness of wines, he develops each cuvee with the purpose of producing expressive wines. -
Champagne Perseval-Farge
Champagne, FOREIGN MARKETS, FRANCE, WINESIn 1808, the first rock of our wine house cellar was set down by Jean-Baptiste Perseval. This founding act initiated the definition of our identity, knowhow and wine making expertise. Today, our spirit and philosophy are still affected by this determination, pragmatism and authenticity. Our family identity expresses itself within a strong principle: sustainability and heritage throughout the generations. Taking the necessary time to follow a controlled natural evolution represents a substantial investment but guarantees longevity. To the respect of time value we associate two additional principles: the commitment to the concept of land and the desire to provide our customers with high added value. Human ability and the purity in our taste exert their influence on our champagnes. Our deep attachment to the beautiful wines’ vintages and to the quality is without any compromise! Ancient grapes such as Pinot Gris (or Fromentot), Petit Meslier and Arbanne, match alongside the more traditional Pinot Black, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. We are proud of this heritage that refresh memories and excite curiosity. Furthermore it represents an asset in supporting the elaboration of unique vintages from both ancient and recent grapes variety. Getting the best out of our “Terroir” (land), we produce sparkling quality in accordance with the AOC Champagne traditions: this is the reason why Perseval-Farge winery exists. Elegance, refinement, discretion is the Perseval-Farge winery signature, which perpetuates unique creations from blended selection of ancient and classic grapes ‘varieties, to offer a perfect experience. >> Download datasheet <<
